This was a pretty epic project and I’m finally happy with it. Lots of fancy flexes and a fun attempt to tell a long story with short videos. Did it work? IDK, but I had fun making it. I couldn’t do it justice at the 2MB limit of Tumblr, so check out the download links, instead.

OK! Bump mapping is actually working, now. Thanks to Spectre-Z for listening to me complain about it, and in my effort to properly demonstrate how it isn’t working, I made it work.
You can see, though, at very glancing light there’s still a little bit of a brightness difference. That’s something I just can’t seem to mend : /

Figured this would be a good time to show off the latest version of the “marginally sexier” pony model. If anyone out there is a wizard in making bump mapping work properly in SFM I’d love to talk to you on Skype for a while <3 <3
Playing with an idea I’m going to use for a music video. Made a nice still out of it.
University’s kicking my butt. Been making good progress on the model but I needed a break today.
